Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg : Theme Thursday – Lift me up, set of note cards.
I started off trying to decide what to do on my ONE card for this weeks Theme Thursday then ended up doing SIX!!!! all because of the one little stamp that looks like a piece of paper with a note on it. I decided it would be perfect to use on some little note cards which is why one became six 🙂
I started by getting out my Carried Away DSP, this is the matching paper to the stamp set that is Free at the moment during Sale-a-bration.
I picked out three colours from this DSP – Night of Navy, Peekaboo Peach and Mint Macaron, and used these colours across my six cards.
My first step was cutting the card bases, two of each colour cut at 5″ x 7″, scored and folded on the long edge to give me a notecard measuring 5″ x 3 1/2″, I picked out 3 DSP designs and cut these 1/8″ smaller, then cut 6 pieces of Whisper White card measuring 4″ x 2 1/2″ and randomly stamped these in my three colours using stamps from the Lift me Up stamp set, before distressing the edges with the same colour as on the card base I was using them on.
After layering these up I then stamped my sentiments on to whisper white, then punched them out with the Decorative Label punch before distressing them too, I added these with dimensionals and finally added an enamel shape to each one.
I quite like how these turned out, and they were lots of fun to make (and of course I ended up covered in ink 🙂 )
