Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Happy New Home : Blooms & Bliss

My friend has just moved into a new house and this is the card that I made for her and her family. Mint Macaron is such a gorgeous colour I knew I wanted to use it for my card, so with that as a starting point I picked out a couple of DSP designs featuring that colour. These were from the Blooms & Bliss DSP pack.

I used the flowered design for a panel at the bottom and the kind of dotty design for my raised panel which I stamped with the fab ‘live laugh love’ design from the Layering Love stamp set.

I picked out one of the pinks (Sweet Sugarplum) from the flowers to stamp some hearts around the words. Before adding this panel I added some Sweet Sugarplum ribbon and a border of washi tape from the Affectionately Yours set in Mint Macaron, then added the panel with dimensionals to raise it.

My ‘Happy New Home’ was stamped using the Labeler Alphabet stamp set in Mint Macaron. The set is just so versatile and looks fab, I added some Island Indigo card behind the words and also raised these with dimensionals.

As usual I didn’t know when to stop and added far too many rhinestones, but I think the lovely colour combination and bold stamping detracted away from that fact or at least I hope so 🙂 I am looking forward to trying this out using different colour and DSP combinations.

Ooh I am so excited only just over a week till the new seasonal catalogue comes out, next Thurday to be exact. I can’t wait to share some of my projects using the new products with you all.
