Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Blooms & Bliss, Quick Card Thursday.

Today’s project is the last of my Use it up projects and also Quick Card Thursday, but it was easy to combine the two. This paper is just so gorgeous, I’m so glad you get two sheets of each design so I have some left.

So nice and easy, I cut my card blank, half a sheet of A4 cut lengthways then scored and folded in the middle. Then used the large flowered side of my DSP cut 1/8″ shorter and narrower and adhered to base. Next I stamped the sentiment and flowers again using the Blooms & Wishes stamp set with Island Indigo, Sahara Sand and Mint Macaron ink and trimmed down to leave a small border then distressed the edges with Island Indigo.

I cut another piece of the DSP and used the other side of it,  I sized this to have about an inch border around the stamping, then cut my Island Indigo layer 1/8″ wider and longer and glued my DSP to this and then my stamped panel on the top. I used dimensionals to add this to my base, I was going to put it straight but wasn’t sure and when I played around with the placement I liked this way best.

I tied a Whisper white Organza bow and after trying to decide where to put it for ages I got my daughter to decide where it looked best, it does look cute there. I love the font on the sentiments in this stamp set they remind me of the writing in an old romantic love letter from the movies.

So that’s it, I have used up nearly all of my 12″ x 12″ sheet of Blooms & Bliss DSP with only a few small pieces left which I am sure I will find somewhere to use. Here is my 3 projects together.

They look lovely together don’t they, I will be doing some coffee and card classes soon and I think this set would be a great project for people to make.

Happy Crafting
