Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Timeless Textures and Elegant Butterflies
I wanted to make sure the cards I was doing were quick so timed myself with these. From start to finish it took me 20 minutes to do all three, and I wasn’t totally sure how I was going to do these, so next time I think they would be lots quicker. I stuck to one colour for each of these, using Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Wisteria Wonder.
The first thing I did was cut 3 card blanks, I halved A4 and scored in the middle. I then cut 1 of each colour for the first layer, making them 1/8″ less on both the width and length. Lastly the layer of Whisper White, 1/8″ less than the coloured layer.
I used the Timeless Textures stamp set, stamping the gorgeous leafy pattern twice down the left hand side overlapping to look longer, and the mesh stamp across the bottom I stamped this off on scrap paper first to make it a bit lighter.
I punched out 1 Elegant Butterfly and 1 Bitty Butterfly in each colour, I distressed the edges of the lighter butterflies with the matching Ink, but think I wouldn’t do this next time. Under the larger butterfly I looped some Silver Metallic thread, but again don’t think it really needed this.
I stamped Thank You from the One Big Meaning stamp set, but could use any sentiment here. I finished off with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the butterflies and scattered on the front.
I like the way these turned out for such a quick card, and if I hadn’t used the thread or distressed the butterflies they would have been even quicker.

I really like how your cards turned out the way they are! No need to take off silver thread or distressing butterflies that adds to your cards!
